This is way too spartan for goth. No lace? no fishnets? no collars? Where's the dark elegance? Where's the appreciation for the macabre? Where's the graphics T of obscure spooky decades old kids movies? Where are the brightly colored socks carefully concealed with 4inch platform heel boots?

I've got this private theory that the goth look is suffering bc 1.) the staples people used to thrift back in the day have been out of style for so long that not many are in circulation 2.) people are poor and 3.) fast fashion has overwhelmed the market with cheap disposable clothing that necessarily doesn't have the little details and flare that really sell the goth look.

very true, i actually like the capsule as a base wardrobe that you then acquire more pricey but quality statement pieces that go with the base wardrobe and provide that "goth" flair

Wait until you hear about "health "goth" that's pretty much just wearing black sportswear.

idk. Certainly not any of the millennial goths I know. It's more a yoga/dance thing.

In women's fashion, they're called bodysuits. You wear them under stuff like pants/shorts/skirts/etc. They keep the silhouette tighter than a regular shirt for a look that's absolutely wrinkle free even when you bend and move around. Only special people get to see the bottom half. janet-wink
