So I have an iPhone SE (first edition) that's kind of old, needs some repairs, I cant get software updates, and, more importantly, hexbear doesn't work on it anymore. So I was thinking about a replacement and wondering what kinds of phones are similar. What I like about my current phone is the smaller form factor, which just feels more ergonomic to me. I wouldn't mind going a little bigger, but I really want a phone that's comfortable to use in one hand and keep in my pocket. I pretty much exclusively use my phone to browse the internet and read pdfs, so it doesn't need to be high-end (I think? Having a fast processor wouldn't make a difference for that, right?), I also don't care about the camera and I take a charger with me most places so the battery life isn't as important, but an oled screen would be nice. Other pluses would be a clean design and being able to last a couple years (my last phone before my current one was an iPhone 5, to give you an idea of how much I like change).

Basically I wan't something that's comfortable to hold in my hand and read posts on. Any suggestions?

Edit: Forgot, but a headphone jack is something I'd really like

The new se is about the same size as your first gen. The 14 is maybe a little bigger.

I like the old 4/5/original se size and the new se and 14 both feel good.

The adapter wires for corded headphones work great. I don’t often listen on corded headphones anymore but it was really nice to have a break point in the cable like the old minidisc headphones did. When they get snagged on something half the time the wire just disconnects instead of pulling the phones off my head or whipping the phone out of my pocket and across the room.

If I were you I’d get either a 14 or 12 mini. They’re both a little bigger but not enough to be significant. You’ll put a new square in your cycling jeans though.
