So you are saying that a shitty source should be trusted in this instance because of a saying? Not all broken clocks are right twice a day. A stopped clock is right twice a day. If they run a tiny bit fast they could go years ore even decades without ever being the right time.
This is one of my pet peeves and you are the only person I've ever seen agree with me on it. A broken clock might never be right depending on how it's broken!
