In some of the south - I think Georgia in particular but almost certainly others - the pigs have been given the right to interrogate people for having a miscarriage. It's so goddamn fucked, and I don't know how I'd avoid catching prison or "dying after an interaction with police" if it happened to someone I knew
My spouse and I have talked about it. The short term plan is to move to a state where we'd be more likely to have time to flee when shit finally gives, which probably means southern california for us
Then if we haven't gotten our shit together and emigrated by that time, we'll hopefully at least stand a chance of reaching Mexico. From there we'd probably be trying for refugee status starting with Cuba. Their constitution explicitly allows them to take in political refugees, but of course nothing's guaranteed
