If so and Trump wins - can he simply kill the orders?

Yup. Good thing he did it at the start of his term so as many people as possible could do it before it could get killed. Be pretty immoral if he was just creating a hostage situation.

Let's play "How will the GOP kill the dems' plans!"

      • Via the GOP justices on the supreme court.
      • Via judge shopping the plans go to the wackadoodle GOP judges on the Fifth Circuit.
      • DC GOP pols kill it.
      • The GOP president kills it.
      • State GOP pols kill it in their state.
      • Etc! Because the GOP will figure out other methods.
      • [Did I forget anything?]

Just yesterday I saw a popular Bluesky thread about how incrementalism gets a really bad rap. Simultaneously I had a feeling of humor, a feeling of "No! No! Fucking no!" where I wanted to shake my head, and I was angry.

if he loses and the program gets nixed the trump government uses that list of people who started the process to arrest and kick out first because none will get through it by the time that happens
