Recently, the Sound Transit board has voted to abandon the light rail expansion plan that voters approved in 2016, reducing transit ridership and decimating system effectiveness by deleting some of the highest ridership stations: Chinatown International District, Midtown, and South Lake Union.

    Everything I hear about this project is negative. Seattle really can't get their shit together on transit it seems. Is there something I'm missing?

        prior to the pandemic, Metro and Sound Transit were in a virtuous cycle of increasing ridership and thus increasing revenue and service. now they keep cutting service and ridership refuses to bounce back, and tax revenue and fare collection are failing. if only there was a way to increase ridership...
