Definitely a bit of a weird ppv with no real titles up for grabs. But the main card in packed with fan favorites. Jan/Alex, Pereira/Wonderboy, Tony/Bobby Green, Holland/Chiesa (lol I don't know how he snuck in here) capped off with Dustin/Justin 2. The ever popular Derrick Lewis is also featured on the prelims.
All are definitely somewhat interesting fights at least. Most importantly even without the fake belt not many would complain about Dustin/Justin headlining a ppv.
As I type this new broke Pereira/Wonderboy has been canceled due to Pereira missing weight (again).
My guess is the Black Beast will be moved to the ppv.
Any one going to watch ?
I'm probably not going to watch, but I just wanted to share that Brazilian MMA fighters are all absolute chuds, no exceptions afaik.
Fun story: Wanderlei Silva, who's a huge Bolsonaro-supporting hog, recently lost a bunch of money betting on a football match and started an impromptu crowdfunding drive to have his fans send him money to pay off his losses.
I idolized Jose Aldo since he was in the WEC.. absolutely crushed when he came out total fucking chud asshole. :sadness-abysmal:
As for exceptions I can come up with only one. Virna Jandiroba was super vocal against Bolsonaro. She has had a very up and down run in the ufc. But is coming off the biggest win of her career.
Justin is a huge asshole chud on this card.
Lmao I still remember when Bolsonaro went to Florida and stayed at Aldo's home, sleeping in a Minions-themed bedroom
Yeah made me sad about Aldo being full on chud... but hiding the former president on a minion bed was funny af.
I’m pretty sure that Demian Maia is also a leftist and supported Lula.
I hope that's true. Maia is a all time favorite of mine.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's true, Maia is cool
Is alex Pereira a chud? Haven't seen anything bad from him but also am not paying attention
Not sure. After Amanda Nunes came out as a chud I kinda expect the worst til proven otherwise.
Had no idea. What did Nunes say/do?
