Ngl im pretty drunk. But I want some kinda goal for my short term savings. I dont live too far from a public range, but I dont have anything to shoot except a dysfunctional m57 zastava (not a joke). Need something for plinking in 
preferably with links to good spots to purchase, fuck it, id do bass pro or academy (we have both in this midwestern ass nazi ass colony )
First gun to get is always an ar then mags, a good sling, a decent optic, and ammo.
Then get a good modern pistol in 9mm. There are lots of options but you can't go wrong with a glock. Then mags, a good belt and holster, and an optic if you're in to that.
Then get a 12ga shotgun.
And then you can mess around.
For pistols, I'm fond of the S&W polymer guns. They're not expensive and they're just as simple and functional as a glock with the bonus of imo better ergonomics and available both with and without thumb safeties.
