    There's a bunch of comments about this show radicalizing Palestinians. As if the Israeli missiles, shootings and kidnappings were never a thing.

      One of the most insidious things I've heard from Israelis is them wanting Palestinians not to think of their country as their own. I recall this from admittedly anecdotal evidence of posts I've read from Israelis and comments destiny got from his Israeli fans. The colonizers want the former occupants to consider themselves squatters.

        That sounds like pretty standard practice for colonisers tbh. They've always done that sort of shit, I don't think it's too far fetched to believe.

          Yeah, sick as it is, it makes psychological sense that they'd want to legitimize their occupation by DARVO'ing it. Otherwise, they have to admit to themselves they are barbaric occupiers and while some % of any population might be willing to stomach that, I think it's safe to say people generally want to view themselves as "good".
