I live in America and I've been on the unemployed/low-employment medicaid insurance for most of the year. I lost my job near the beginning of lockdown and forgot to report the change for a couple weeks. Despite this, I've been doing food delivery like Doordash and Grubhub making roughly the same if slightly less than I was at my previous job.

Well, I've been petrified to report that change and now it's been months. My situation hasn't changed. I was planning on having a full time job months ago and still occasionally get interviews.

I'm so fucking petrified that I could be run down for a felony and utterly destroy the final shred of hope for a normal, if even happy, life. I feel like an anxiety attack is coming but even if it does it'll just make things worse.

Am I fucked?

These kind of things happen all of the time. Just talk to the agency that administers it and get it corrected. Worst case scenario you owe a bit of money. They aren't going to pursue legal charges for petty shit like this, it happens millions of times a year.
