I live in America and I've been on the unemployed/low-employment medicaid insurance for most of the year. I lost my job near the beginning of lockdown and forgot to report the change for a couple weeks. Despite this, I've been doing food delivery like Doordash and Grubhub making roughly the same if slightly less than I was at my previous job.

Well, I've been petrified to report that change and now it's been months. My situation hasn't changed. I was planning on having a full time job months ago and still occasionally get interviews.

I'm so fucking petrified that I could be run down for a felony and utterly destroy the final shred of hope for a normal, if even happy, life. I feel like an anxiety attack is coming but even if it does it'll just make things worse.

Am I fucked?

These kind of things happen all of the time. Just talk to the agency that administers it and get it corrected. Worst case scenario you owe a bit of money. They aren't going to pursue legal charges for petty shit like this, it happens millions of times a year.

I live in America; this doesn't seem like that big of a deal.
You were/are on Medicaid and lost your job, then started working other jobs making roughly the same income.
Medicaid eligibility should be based on income not job description.
I would notify DHHS of your status, if they ask why there is a discrepancy tell them you were real sick for 2-3 weeks.

I have no idea, I don't know shit about US financial law. But talk to someone who does asap, get legal help. If you're lucky they can sweep it under the rug, at worst they will reduce the crime because they will get you to cooperate. Don't sit on it.

You couldn't possibly have harmed your life any more than capitalists already have. That being said, you can report it with little to no repercussions, even thought it was a good minute ago
