Handguns, you're probably right. There's Kel Te... well, never mind them. Then there's Remington... but they used to be good, right? Mossberg still makes decent hardware, at least. Kimb.. no. Uhh... Polymer 80? I think mine has mostly American made parts plus a few Chinese made bits, at least.

Remington has been plagued with problems for at least the past five years from what I've read. Their new production stuff has a proclivity to rust (!!) brand new. I've got an old '70s era riot shotgun I bought at auction, an 870 Wingmaster, and that thing is amazing. I had to replace the barrel due to severe age or storage related rust pitting when I got it, but with the new barrel it's been a delight. Buttery smooth action, unbelievably good.

My P80 definitely has no P80 parts other than the ones that came with the kit. I bought an OEM Glock LPK and had a nightmare of a time trying to resolve FTE and stovepipes until I replaced the OEM glock extractor with an aftermarket one. IMO it's the ideal Glock (for me) - better grip angle and I added a thumb safety. Shame Glock decided safety is a secondary concern.
