Went to a library today to return a book and grab some more. They always have a few books out that they're selling extras of or whatever. I've got some excellent books there before rare oldies and odd little things. Today there was a book I really wanted but it was $170. I thought it said $17. I was so excited.

Oh well. This book is online but it's not the same.

I like the idea of flipping back thru a couple pages manually to reread something that confused me at first but got clarified a few pages later.

Same. I always flipping back and forth. Just doesn't work on anything else I've tried.

It is a rare book by a legendary author and pioneer of the field. Definitely not in print. Probably was in their special collection but maybe they got a second copy. Still ya I can't do $170 for a book full of information that's probably available elsewhere including some books I could borrow from that same library

But ya I was surprised. Most others top out at less than $100 even for weird rare books their.
