I've recently decided that beige is the superior computer color. EVERYTHING ON MY DESK IS BLACK AND I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING BECAUSE THERE IS NO CONTRAST
And frontlights.
And sidelights.
And the-call-is-coming-from-inside-the-house-lights.Can't have too many rgb lights.
(I mean, you can, and that is one or more, but other than that ...)
Recently upgraded my cpu. My mobo's PCB is black and the light is directly above my desk. Can't see shit cause my head casts a shadow on the already black mobo... I had to use my phone torch but couldn't prop it up at a good angle so used up one of my hands to hold the phone. Ridiculous.
Look at that subtle off-white colouring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a SoundCanvasRetvrn to having a cute little synth as a sound card.
I'm old enough to remember, in the early 80s, fantasizing about what an increasingly computer-heavy future would look like.
Those fantasies did not in any way resemble the bleak bazinga shit we're now living in.
I can feel the complex nerdium fields emanating from this pic.
Indeed very cozy. And I bet the chair is the shitty kind because such was the style at the time.
But this is fairly high end equipment, right?
