Anyone playing it? It's like balatro but blackjack.

At first I didn't really like it, but you can make some very broken decks and it can be very fun if a bit too unfair at times.

If you played slay the spire, you can make a claw deck in this game and it's actually more functional lmao

I’ve watched some gameplay and it seems that the way to win is always stall out until they stand, then fuck them up with a card that makes them bust retroactively.

That does work very well, but there are other ways to win too. Manipulating your opponents deck even a little is always helpful though

It's good, there is a new public beta which fixes some issues, but waiting a bit for some official patches to come out isn't a bad idea

I also thought it was Balatro for blackjack at first but apparently the first demo came out a whole year before Balatro

It is pretty good, but I still don't get what makes a good deck yet

Yeah, it preceded balatro for its demo. I still think it's a fair comparison because it uses a card game as the framework for a game, but dndg diverts even further from blackjack than balatro does from poker.

Negative cards and cards that round up are great. You want to cycle your deck as much as possible because then you can use your like power cards more. I try to remove any standard face card and high cards asap.

You can also easily fuck with the enemy by changing their cards/deck, like using the limit break type card to double the value of something high and then locking it so they just automatically bust.

Btw There is a new public beta you can use which fixes some issues and makes the early game a bit smoother and healing more plentiful.
