These bois are some of my favorites. If anybody has more I would love to listen especially left wing women musicians.
Please god tell me you didn't put that misleading clown Michael Render in here
Yes I did brother because his music has a very socialist message. Its a pipe line not every one in it is always correct.
But what message do his actions have? As far as I can tell, between who he's stumped for, his Black-capitalist actions, his landlord-ery, and the fact that the bank he was trying to rep isn't even actually Black-owned, I don't see his music as anything more than the kayfabe he moves units with.
Ya that's a great point, It's a good thing I always pirate my music 😱, I agree with you about "black capitalism", it doesn't change shit it's still just slavery, with different people holding the reigns.
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss; now they just have our faces." Empire thinks they've gotten slick.
I mean, they have—to people who aren’t aware of class struggle. One of my liberal friends says this all the time about how women and people of color make better bosses and leaders. That could be true in some ways, like how being oppressed might make them more empathetic and less likely to oppress others. But that’s not her point. When I press her for a legitimate answer, it’s always some gender or race essentialist nonsense about how they’re inherently better. It’s frustrating, man. Class struggle is the only way forward.
This is awesome comrade, would you be so kind as to drop the names of these guys. I would love to listen
from left to right Bambu, Killer mike, El-P (run the jewels), Zach delaroche(rage against the machine and profits of rage),Surge(system of a down and serj tankian)
RTJ is so great. I'd recommend Walking in the Snow for those not familiar. Can't wait to eventually hear RTJ4.
Has Serj Tankian said something about the genocide yet? I was following him a while ago and he was completely silent about it and most of his posts had comments being like wtf, this is your whole shtick.

Jesus Christ, it is mind-boggling how someone who should get that the only response to genocidal, invading settlers is a violent one can still fix their face to both-sides a settler-inflicted genocide. Why do I expect anything of westerners anymore?
Katt Williams was right, 2024 is showing every misleader's ass.
I know, I just finished reading and I was like... Thats it? It took him 8 months to come up with that half assed "both sides" bullcrap. Lost a lot of respect for these guys who posed as anti genocide warriors when it was time to talk about armenia or muh tiananmen square, but now that you've got notoriety to lose or are afraid of being boycotted by producers suddenly the world is all nuance and vibes. Fucking liberals.

Lucia Cifarelli has a new solo album getting Kickstarter'ed. She's the female vocalist from KMFDM and formerly MDFMK
She's an outspoken Anarcho-Communist, along with her husband Sascha Konietzko.
Her style is industrial with some goth flavoring. Truly unique stuff. Her solo stuff doesn't go as hard as KMFDM does, but both are great with themes that would appeal to the Hexbear/Chapo crowd.
...Y'know, I absolutely expected KMFDM to hide behind the same dissembling kind of wide-eyed "we don't advocate for anything" kind of handhiding that Combichrist has been known to do; but I wasn't expecting them to be ancoms
Heavy sigh of relief, it's super-hard to find super-hard electro/industrial like them that DOESN'T have super-fashy undertones
Their last few albums go hard on critiques of fascism, encouraging revolution, and environmentalism. Paradise is a hell of an album from 2019. Their last two efforts weren't quite as good, but still worthy of a listen.
They've never really shied away from being overtly political, even in their early days. "Black man, white man, yellow man, rip the system". It's always been there with them. Genuine too, they're good people.
