At one cinema, where The Nun’s Story was screening during the day, and The Tingler after-hours, the projectionist accidentally switched on Percepto! during a poignant moment in the film, causing a bit of a ruckus.

I was just about to say this. I love The Tingler. It's such a good concept and all the marketing gimmick stuff like the Percepto! vibrating seats was great. Here's an article with lots of fun facts and those brilliant posters.
