This is one of my favorite things ever, I call it polo gojeh ferangi, which isn't an alien capitalist and just means foreign in Persian. Tomatoes are called "foreign plum"
foreign plum is such a cute name for them, i just looked up the dish and saw it also has potatoes? lovely! i'll have to add some next time i make it
