I hated big emojis in the beginning of the Hexbear federation. Disgustingly big emojis filling up my pristine light-themed lemmygrad filled me with rage.

The subtle coloring and contouring of angery, the classic trim of sicko-wistful's suit, the way that individual pores take on a hypnotic pattern in took-restraint, and so much more. I started to think of them not as just emojis, but a manifestation of Marx's metaphysical projection onto the hypermaterial world.
