If I recall correctly, at one point an IRA member actually tossed an explosive at the PM's offices and only due to misfortune didn't successfully take out the PM; can you imagine picking a fight with a country that tough? Ironic that the British have played a major role in training the IDF in counter-insurgency tactics.
Maybe they should've got someone that actually succeeded in counter-insurgency to do the training?
