You silly poors might think that them being piloted remotely by literal humans is stupid, and pointless when the human could just use their own body. But what you fail to understand is that now we don't have to look at our servants, and can pretend that theyre robots, and not humans we have forced into a VR headset at gunpoint. I used to feel bad when my servants would cry about their cancer ridden child not being able to afford medical care, but now i just hit the mute button on my tesla bot! 30,000$ well spent!

I really feel like people need to talk about how first gen robots were made of white plastic to make them look fancy. This robot is specially designed to be a servant and the face is of black plastic. Like, real apartheid energy and no one says anything

I've spent more than a decade now trying to warn people this is the future.

This has been a long time coming. Starsky Robotics was using remote drivers to fill in the gaps of their driverless semi-trucks like 3 years ago. Just wait till VR and telerobotics allow us to "bid for opportunities" to take over control of humanoid robotics when they find themselves in situations their neural nets can't handle. It'll totally be like a virtual mechanical turk.

This will also end up providing the training data for these things. Or well, better non-tesla versions. These look like a scam. I doubt they can handle any sort of real terrain or workload. They might work as limited real dolls, I guess.

Why bother having any pretext of freedom anymore. They could just go back to full blown chattel slavery and keep us all in prison camps where we jack in to own robot worker bodies to go serve our masters, and the bodies could have failsafe limitations built in to prevent us from ever misbehaving. Prison labor is already a huge thing in the US why not expand it ramp up arrests and use them as the robot pilot slaves. The future is grim.

The illusion of pretext is the controlled opposition. think-about-it

Neoliberalism's inclusionary nature ensures that there will always be middle class gusanos to fuck up revolution for the rest of us. Iirc, Psychopolitics was a pretty good read on this.

Edit: VR Biometrics will expand on the Psychopolitics in monstrous ways. doomjak
