Once again I ask what the hell are you talking about. The post being dunked on is clearly made by a chud why are you seemingly defending it?

This cartoon is literally a racist, transphobic piece of shit Nazi meme.

I think they are saying that the cartoon is misrepresenting leftism as a simplistic "anti-war" view, rather than anti-imperialism (a more nuanced view of violence that allows for support of liberation forces), by depicting the person as both Ukraine and Palestine supporter, which are two very different kind of situations, but in the simplistic anti-war view would be seen as the same.

maybe it is because english is not their first language but I still have no clue what they are on about.

Like are they pro-hippie? Anti-hippie? Why did they even bring up hippies? Everyone knows the whole hippie movement was coopted and the vast majority became reactionary trash.

I genuinely cannot parse what the original point of their first comment was.

I don't know what the original hippie movement was like, but I know the term has something of an association of being for peace in that sort of useless pacifist way that gets you demolished by fascists and imperialists. It also has some association with being anti-war in this way. So, misrepresenting leftists as being blindly pacifist rather than anti-imperialist, anti-colonial, etc.

I'm pretty confident the point is like I already said.

That is why I was so confused, they seem to be criticizing the anti-hippie connotations of the meme, but I really don't see anything about hippies. The weird hippies I am familiar are also all extremely anti-vaxx among other things hence my jesse-wtf reaction. I don't see any caricature of a hippie in this image. My confusion arose from their seeming kneejerk reaction to this somehow being antihippie propaganda and I could not tell if they were defending hippies or whatever, it was just an incoherent mess of a comment so I reacted with the wtf emoji.

As a chronic overthinker myself, you might be overthinking it a bit. I'm pretty sure the point was just that the comic is misrepresenting "the left" and they (the poster) just happened to focus on the angle they did, as to how; the comic itself doesn't make sense in the first place, so trying to think too hard about how a specific criticism of it makes sense is going to be a tangled web. I don't think it's any deeper than them trying to commiserate on the comic being a bad faith representation by focusing on anti-war angle of things.

Sure I probably am, I am just trying to figure out where the hippie comment came from because I see nothing about hippies in the image and their comment came off as weird because of that.

I still cannot tell what you are trying to say here.

I think you are fixating on the ukraine flag pin in a fascist meme that is in no way made in good faith and going on a tear about something that has nothing to do with the point of the original post that is clearly pointing out that someone apparently uncritically posted a comic from this literal Nazi comic earlier at some point. Without further context I really have no idea what the hell you are saying or trying to say.

                What exactly are you criticizing?

We all know it's a bad faith caricature of the left so why do you seem so fixated on that one element of the meme? That is what makes it seem like you were defending it. I know Ukraine is full of Nazis and that it is supposed to be a bad faith representation of the left, I am just curious why you made that comment. Maybe you should elaborate with a little more level headedness because I am clearly not the only person that has no clue what you are talking about.

Yeah none of that was in dispute here.

I mean this in the sincerest way possible but it might be a good time to take a further step back and log off for a bit for your own mental health sake. I get the current state of events has us all justifiably pissed but your first post was entirely incoherent to many of us, also still curious what you meant by the hippie part so maybe after a bit of a cooling off period you can explain what you meant by that, I loathe most hippies (exceptions being some of the old guard that didn't sell out/become reactionary).

Nothing more low effort or lazy than just doing a comic with the "I depict you as the soyjack and me as the chad, so I win."

Also Stonetoss is dangerous because he understands aesthetics and "hiding your power level" so normies will share his "apolitical" comics and then read more of them and adopt more of his hateful views. This comic is just disgusting to anyone with a brain.

I think him being outed as a full, genuine Nazi galvanized his existing support-base but pretty much destroyed any centrist or middle-ground base that he had, which was confusing to me considering how Hitlerian a lot of Americans can be. Part of his far-right base didn't like that he did work with Israel. I don't really see the "edgy centrist" types sharing his comics anymore and he made like 5 comics coping about it.

If it didn't damage his base; it definitely fucked with him.

As far as I understand, a lot of American "centrists" want "civil" Nazis. They love nazis, as long as those nazis don't openly do nazi things and keep their naziism behind closed doors.

So, when I see these kind of comics where they depict the "cool rational republican dude" they always make the fucking guy look disheveled or weird in some way. Like this guy looks like he got fired from the Police Force and he's going on some "hard times". Full five o clock, huge eye-bags, etc.

Like he's supposed to look good?
