Probably the most liberal place on lemmy. Take a look at the lateral bar: the posts were able to be more liberal than that. !desantisthreatensusa@lemmy.world

Looking for tolerant, open minded posters. Yet will ban you if you mention that billionaires literally own media companies.
It really bothers me how out of all the things they could complain about DeSantis they chose his war with Disney
Lol, this is the only sort of problems capitalists care about. Honestly the mod might have a financial connection to Disney. Maybe he's a well paid manager and he's pissed that his bonus went down.
The sidebar seems to indicate that it's an American Republican comm. So that would actually make sense.
Have respect for the independent corporate media! They aren't like those clearly corrupt shills at https://thegrayzone.com/
I checked the Wikipedia page for the Grayzone, and it was pretty negative about it, essentially treating it like a far-right nutjob website. What is so special about this website that it pisses off neoliberals so much?
Someone else can probably explain better. I've seen it brought up before here (in relation to the Wikipedia drama). It was just the first thing that came to mind when I saw the term "independent news". I know it as a leftist news source that is thoroughly hated by liberals, but not one I regularly read (although I should probably start).
Neoliberals not being able to tell the difference between left and right is honestly becoming a meme at this point though. It speaks volumes to a lack of political education, and how nonsense like horseshoe theory takes hold.
