I'm learning TK (intro lvl) at uni in Montreal, looking to see if any Turks could recommend any lefty music, film, literature :) Fan of Selda Bağcan, know about a few Cem Karaca songs, and heard mixed opinions on Yılmaz Güney (apparently he beat his wife??).

Hello yoldaş. "tamirci çırağı" and "ben bir ceviz ağacıyım" are good left songs. "ben kaderin şu çarkına çomak sokarım" is not inherently left wing but it removes the powerlessness feeling. Behzat ç is a left leaning detective show I really recommend it. That show will teach you about our society really good. I am "liboş" (or Sisatıcı#1009) in discord if you want to contact.
