Really good emotional album and a few songs made me cry. He got really personal on this album and has shifted from his usual thematic narrative style that all his other albums were known for. I think it’s very uplifting and somewhat positive with his mom appearing on most if not all songs giving him motivation or advice. I like that it takes a variety of sounds from all of his other albums it’s a definite treat for Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy, and Igor fans.

The song Like Him made me cry even though it had a sus line from his mom in the beginning but I guess that’s just their banter, Darling I and Judge Judy made me emotional too. I liked that he shared some details into his relationships including the fact he may or may not have a kid but that he’s too selfish to take care of it which he calls himself a hypocrite for since he lived without a father himself, I appreciate the raw honesty and reflection.

Obviously he takes creative liberty so what we hear on this album might not be straight facts but this version of Tyler and seeing his progression through his music makes me happy.

I've listened to it 4-5 times now and I'm still digesting it. So far I do like it but I definitely want to read the lyrics more fully and let it sit for a bit.
