Long story short he needed to use my computer today for his IRA bullshit, something about it being moved from one account to another. ofc he's a stone age boomer so he has no account and it's the weekend so the customer service line is closed. So we tried to get into this arcane system of bullshit and make an account for him so he could access it and it didn't work. Long story short he lost his shit and unloaded on me over it. I had to keep apologizing like it was my fault then he stormed out.

And the kicker is I was going to ask him for a ride to the pharmacy tomorrow to get my meds and now I'm afraid to do so.

Fucking everything is my fault when it comes to him and he's perfect.

    Sorry to hear about this.

I’m not serious about this, but part of me thinks “he’s clearly incapable of managing his financial shit online, OP should just start taking his money and blaming stupid websites…since they’re gonna get blamed anyway”

I have used his card before to buy meds for myself, I figure when he asks I'll just feign ignorance over it. Gotta be careful and make it look like an honest mistake tho.

That’s fair to me. Also it’s for meds, which I’d assume he would at least want you to have, even if he’s self-absorbed and obnoxious (unless he also hates medication, therapy, etc, which I hope is not the case).

He does! He thinks I'm looking for sympathy/being lazy for having mental health issues :yea:

Ah classic I guess. Sucks, but an unfortunately prevalent mindset in that generation (my parents are also fairly skeptical about it, never having had access to it themselves).
