Post title: Don't Panic, Organize: Meeting the Moment of Trump's Second Term

Comment: I'm not responding to shit. You guys voted for this so I'm coasting by on my middle class white privilege from now on. I tried to reinforce the dam and everyone around me decided to blow it up instead. Now it's time to sink or swim on your own. I'm not wasting any more time trying to help people who won't help themselves.

the scratched lib screetching and weirdly depressive and confused statements are not something I expected to see quite so much of this go around.

like a lot of people outing themselves as suddenly interested in universal solidarity but also angry that their coalition to completely sell out Palestinians--and eagerly embroil us all in the expanding MENA settle colonial project--wasn't able to pull it off.

like goddam, the mourning is kind of offensive. I'm not jumping down anyone's throat about it--though I want to--because obviously they are all in their feelings of nostalgia for a future that never arrived and have deeply internalized lib propaganda that conflated democrats with actually giving a shit about minorities, civil rights, workers, climate change, etc.

but Jesus, the ignorance on display is DEEP.

I think we need to remember that the extremely online libs are freaks. I doubt most libs have particularly developed thoughts about this. At least I hope so. I really hope no serious percentage of Liberals has gone "Welp, guess I'm a fascist now, better go buy a white hood".
