I thought the move to lemmy was like a linux/server thing (I am not mainframe literate). I read the message saying "you are not logged in, sign up with a Fediverse account" and thought it was a bit about how the feds lurk this site.
I somehow avoided all this lemmy talk up until seven days ago.
same energy as that one dril tweet
for like 8 months i thought covid was one of those joke diseases where you ask "what's covid" and the other guy tells tou to suck his nuts
it is a bit, all of us created alts with @[blah blah blah] on the end and are now pantomiming liberals. we make our own fun here on hexbear dot net
At first blush that’s exactly what I thought. Y’all came out of nowhere
absolutely amazing, talk about it was everywhere for more than like a month before federation started and there's been a ton of posts about it for like 2 weeks now lol
Like what did you think you were seeing when you first saw all the complaining about .world and the like haha
The site's layout slightly changed and it was a little too much for me to handle at the moment so I barely used the site for a while.
About the talk, I only heard about the lemmy move like a day or two before it happened. I do remember how long the site was down for it.
what are you, some kind of grass toucher? A true poster would never let the UI bring them down!

I rested like Jordan in between his 3-peats. I came back swinging with the definitive anti-Italian action post.

- ShowI see I was mistaken, you are a true poster. Keep up the good work!
lmao i thought it was just hexbear emoji that were huge on other instances. apparently it goes both ways
I'm curious what kind of fed presence this place really has. We know we're on the radar, at the very least. Has anyone had anyon DMing them about doing Very Cool activities?
I got one of those during the first year of the site being up. got contacted on matrix by someone who wouldn't tell me what their username on the site was and wanted details on the work I was doing. I told them to pound sand and changed accounts on hexbear.
