    "political correctness" to me is nebulous, they've been using that line for 30 years or more now. What they mean is, marginalized LGBT+ people should be written off in their politics.

      It's WAY worse than that, the implication is that "political correctness" is not actually correct, and the correct/natural/default position is to be racist/white supremacist/homophobic/transphobic, and these have to be disguised purely for the purpose of being politically savory.

      So if you aren't being racist you aren't being correct - you're being politically correct.

      Yes it's absolutely ghoulish.
