It is reactionary to have unread notifications, if you see a notification in the Inbox that has not been read yet, you have to read it and remove it for the rest of us !
For that is the way of the new Bureaucrat system.

You might be missing out on something huge. Do get it twisted, you should open all the emails in your spam folder, a rich prince is waiting to donate money to you !I read them all, I just had messages I didn't want to delete and then it became too far gone.
If you want, in your Inbox there should be "Unread" and "All". Inside of "All" you can find all of them even after marking as read, without having to leave them "unread" (and thus having the number at the top).
I'll make an effort pup, from now on, everyone that replies to us that I see is getting a reply from me, even if I have no idea what's going on for that is the spirit of a real bit account !
(Also you can browse "All" instead of just "Unread" in the inbox and you will be able to see all of them, so nothing is lost by marking as read)
How do we treat self-DM's? Should they be kept up for some time for most/all of the Bureau to see?
Bureaucrats will need to get used to a new way of browsing the site by looking at all DMs instead of unread.
