I'm a music critic from Uruguay and i'm currently studying web development. I was a conservative capitalist guy, and now i'm a libertarian socialist closetted femboy lol (also a Youtube Pooper).
My musical likes are: My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Sweet Trip, lovesliescrushing, Death Grips, George Clanton, Whirr, Radiohead, Soda Stereo and JPEGMAFIA.
My favorite historic events / socialist models are: Yugoslavism, Maoism, Leninism, Agrarian Burkina Faso's socialism and the Movimiento Liberación Nacional Tupamaros (Revolutionary Guerrilla in my Country).
Sup,
I'm watching Masterchef Uruguay s2 and I have a question:
There's a surprisingly high frecuence of participants (and judges) with relatives from or living in Venezuela, and the hypermelodramatic judge (whose daugther is living in Vzla) said to a venezuelan participant something like "Venezuela has given the uruguayan people lots of hospitality and we can't reciprocate enough"
So, my question is, is there some kind of historical connection I've never heard of between Uruguay and Venezuela?
I don't think there is a historical connection, i guess Uruguay it's just an option for Venezuelan people to live. But yeah, there's been a lot of Venezuelan people in the country, and Cuban people too.
