Bureaucrats are highly polymorphic and complex posters.[4] Although they may appear to be individual posters, each specimen is in fact a colonial poster composed of shitposter and sincereposter postoids that are morphologically and functionally specialized.[5] Postoids are multicellular units that develop from a single fertilized egg and combine to create functional colonies able to vape, digest, float, moisturise, and use jet propulsion to stay in their lane.[6] Most colonies are long, thin, transparent floaters living in the hexbear zone.[7]
