I'm into games (video and tabletop), I spend my days vibing with plants and bugs and wild creatures, and I watch sumo and baseball and like to see obscure (to an American) sports from around the world.

Environmentalism was my initial bridge into leftism; I've been an active socialist for about a decade now, starting with the organization I founded at my college and (after a number of interim stops) now continuing with .

Adjacent to that, I do a lot of urbanism related organizing so that I can eventually get rid of my car entirely and my kids will be able to play safely in the street. I love walking the city, seeing the nuances of neighborhoods and architecture. When I travel to another city, my idea of a good time is learning the local transit and visiting the oldest, most walkable neighborhoods.

I love cooking for friends and family and committing fully to veganism has only elevated the joy I take in that.

For work, I'm in solar energy. It helps me a lot to have a job that has a real, measurable climate impact.
