It wasn't a health concern. The only concerns for 5G were long-term practicality, energy and service costs and shorter coverage.
5G was supposed to be made for robots, IoT and wireless home internet.
I haven't tried 5G, but it seems that the expected speeds would be the same as 4G in early days.
The problem has nothing really to do with speed its capacity. At least in dense city areas 5g works out a bit better by having lots of small 5g towers rather than one big range tower. 4g in London for example simply didn't work too many big buildings and too many devices.
For more rural or sparsley populated areas is doesn't have anywhere near as much of a usecase as a normal cell tower can cover the region fine.
Also we got shit 5G cos of china scare its not Huawei 5G that was supposed to be installed.
