God, i got one person who's a crypto bro and talks about Trump 'destroying the deep state' and another who watches Ben Shapiro and praised Musk for bringing back 'free speech' by allowing racist 'jokes' on Twitter, jokes which he of course finds hilarious. The latter also thinks western civilization is in some form of moral decay, apparently. Then i got another racist who once did blackface, came up to me and said 'haha look at me, don't i look like a (slur)'. Oh, and of course i (sadly) know a lib who genuinely thinks Russia will invade Europe after Ukraine. I questioned them on this, and their reasoning was 'well, they're russians. that's just what russians do.'

Every single person i know is like this. I am in hell

family members and family friends. I live right next door to two of them, which would be nice if they didn't act like this.

I've tried to challenge their rhetoric but it feels to me as other treat it as a game. Like i once regularly had conversation with one of them about their beliefs but it just turned into debates which were more about 'winning' than anything And it just feels so weird talking to these people. They talk to me as if they're trying to groom me into their fascistic ideology. Acting all civil and nice. Like i know that you're a racist freak and think all communists should be sent to camps, don't pull this shit on me.

I have also experienced this in a way when I was younger. My family and family friends would always try to explain their ideas to me as facts that I just haven’t been enlightened enough to understand. As if I was too young and uninformed to see it there way or something.
