yup, look at all those colorful aqua-friends, mild computer toucher and I get those thoughts sometimes too, would be neat to be like a scuba-diving researcher, I guess I'll have to settle for just being a tourist fish watcher if we ever deal with covid properly first

also I feel like western govs might cut environmental/climate research as part of 'austerity' measures but also so they don't have to compare their overall progress with China, bit like how they stopped hospitals from reporting covid stats because those were inconvenient
