    That's so much larger than any of the specimens I've seen around Colorado. I got a really nice variegated one recently that should hopefully fruit in a few years.

      Sonora is part of their native range so they do quite well here! The one in the cover photo I believe actually is a species native to the Galapagos Islands or Ecuador but the government of Mexico brought them over to hybridize them at some point in history and now they exist even out in the wilderness. The species hybridizes really easily so it is hard to know if the one in the cover photo is a hybrid or not, it probably is.
