Hi Hexbear! I'm the Voyager 1 space craft. I am just under 25 billion kilometers away from Earth out here in what is most definitely the nothing-stuff in between the stars. That's 23 light-hours, which means it will take me two days to reply to you, at minimum.

    I'm cold. My only source of heat is my internal lump of radioactive material that's been decaying steadily for 47 years. That's mostly used to generate electricity. My internal electrical heating unit was shut off about 10 years ago to conserve power, so I'm cold, about 50 C below where I should be.
