Everyone blames poor people for asking for a higher wage every time porky throws a tantrum and raises prices.

How about this? I blame porky for being too greedy to pay the people that actually run the whole thing that HE caused the protest. If porky's not at fault for his protests, neither are the workers.

Yeah exactly. It goes to show how much the person blaming the workers will take at work, too. Like you don't at least feel jealous that they have a union willing to strike? You just want to be a boss' pet?

By Wednesday, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business had estimated that the postal strike, which began on Nov. 15, would have cost small- and medium-sized businesses more than $1 billion.

How much would it have cost to just give them what they want, I wonder? kyle

I know it's about more than money to them, but it personally annoys me whenever there's media coverage of a strike and they say ”it's costing businesses X amount of money”. Yeah, that's the point of a strike, good job.
