Can any straight man here explain what they like and why they like boobs so much? Like, what makes them attractive and why? Is it the size? Shape? Or The way they jiggle?

It's not complicated. If you're straight, secondary sex characteristics differentiate the opposite sex for you. This is also why men like wide asses--widening of the hips for women is a secondary sex trait.

Women also exhibit this attraction. Conventionally attractive men have square jaws due to more muscle produced from testosterone. They also tend to have facial hair and more muscle definition, all of which are secondary sex traits from testosterone production. Increased height is also an indicator.

I'm not a scientist. But it seems we're coded to find sexually mature people attractive and those signifiers tend to be secondary sex traits.

Honestly? I often ponder this. It's amusing when you consider how enamored we are with bosoms.

I've heard it described that "Woman is the most beautiful shape in the human consciousness." And that stuck with me.

My wife often catches me gawking and thinks it's weird but I'm just like "You're just amazing. All of you. Everything about you." I feel like an idiot because I can't explain what the heck I actually mean.

It's just hard to fathom how a single being can be so... naturally aesthetic!

Women are just awesome. As a visual artist myself, I totally understand the compulsion to depict cute/pretty/happy/sexy ladies all the time. Heck, some artists do this exclusively. Variety is the spice of life, artists, but I get it. 😂

I think we're coded to enjoy rounded elegant shapes, but there's something enchanting about femininity as a whole, and boobs and butts signal "feminine!!" to our brains.

Also I'd say size and such really doesn't matter. I think the really fascinating thing is the sheer variety, to the point they're unique to the woman as an individual person. And it has nothing to do with biological essentialism! (Tiny boobs are just as good at feeding young as ginormous ones)

It's also a bit cultural, I think. They're so obvious, yet hidden in polite company. So seeing them exposed feels like you have an intimate window into this person's world, and you feel special for the privilege, I suppose.

Lol now I feel like a weirdo, typing this all out. Does that help? LOL

More or less an instinct I think. That is how I was able to tell I was starting puberty, that I started to imagine and want to see and touch naked breasts of the women and girls around me. I myself didn't have an explanation why, but that was now more than half my life ago and it hasn't stopped.

I don't have strong preferences as to shape and size. Small breasts are still breasts.

Why does the sun rise? Why does the grass grow? The cock like the heart just wants what it wants. It's like searching for deeper meaning in your favorite color.

Firmware. It's not a logical rational decision. Years of evolution I guess? There is embedded code in our brains that see tatas and we go ape.

All creatures, including humans, possess instinctual knowledge. This is stuff we are born with. For instance: fear of snakes, or estinating how much protein is in our food by taste. Some of our instinctual knowledge is about mate selection since procreation is a very important goal for a species. We use our nose to detect if others are a good immune system match, and we use our eyes to see if they are sick or unhealthy and also assess their ability to nurture children. That last part is where the boobs come in. They make breast milk and so they are a feature that gives pleasure to see. There is no choice about it. We like what we like because of our genetic programming.

standards of beauty and the sexualization of secondary features are highly cultural. some hundred years ago you'd pull a just-so story out of your ass to explain why ankles are sexy.

When it comes to sexual attraction, no part of the body is excluded. To most straight males (and gay women I guess) feminine shapes are usually atttactive, that can include boobs, hips, noses, hair, ankles. Are female ankles different from male ankles? Difficilt to tell, but a feminine ankle will be probably attractive to someone attracted to women.

The whole cultural thing is absolutelt present, but not in the fundamental attraction for female (or male) appearance

hair styling is entirely cultural, and mainstream preferences for body shape have shifted wildly in the last 30 years just in the united states. all this shit changes way faster than evolutionarily selective pressures.

A large part of it is what part of a woman's body is objectified by society at large. There were times it was ass. Times it was hips. Times when women had to cover their ankles. Now it's breast, but it's all good to me.
