If you have experience with AA, NA, rehab, SMART recovery, or addiction in general let me know. I'm trying to make this comm a safe space for people in recovery too alongside the general improvement people are working on.

I enjoyed NA more than AA while I was in rehab, probably due to the fact that NA was around my age (30+) while in AA was mostly bougie boomers. Welcome!

thanks friend heart-sickle and yea, ime NA skews a bit younger, less white, and less religious so i found a home there but i also live in a large metro so it's easier to find meetings. Small cities and rural areas still seem to heavily favor AA but it's all pretty similar. fyi for anyone who is curious, alcohol is absolutely considered a drug in NA so if you're in recovery for alcohol you are more than welcome if NA is closer to you or you're interested in it.
