I am not DOSing Hexbear, higher traffic from VPN IP addresses is expected because there's fewer IP addresses per user.
Rate limiting by IP address is an anti-privacy op
Edit: Maybe the rate limit can be increased for login requests?

I also noticed that rate limiting has been really bad lately. I'm running 3 bots and It's impossible to login all of them at the same time (plus my own account). I have to wait like an hour between each login
I had this happen too not on a VPN. I think it is just a site hiccup happening recently
the site is broken.. i can't login either because my 2fa is suddenly broken and attempting to login more than twice blocks me for like 2 hours from trying again
Agreed, but considering that 2 other users in this thread say it's happening to them, too (including a non-VPN user), the current limit is probably too low
