Pretty much shows how the system is designed to force representatives into the fold. I don't believe AOC wanted to be where she is now when she began, but the cold pragmatic nature of the system demands progressives either change their tune or lose their seat. Many reps will vote against their own morals because they don't want to die on "that hill".
I don't think voting green will honestly do anything if you want an overhaul of the system. I don't think there's a way to make any fast and significant changes through the system. Some may say slow and steady wins the race, but how long are we supposed to suffer? Who wins from that time? Certainly not the common citizen.
I think ranked choice vote would be a huge benefit to our electoral process, but let's be honest- there is no way in hell any party will vote for it. Once upon a time AOC was for it. Maybe personally she still is. But this isn't a problem with character, it's a problem with form.

Slow and steady got us here
