Last week, Elon Musk streamed himself playing Path of Exile 2. It was a short 30 minute stream. In the stream, he attempts to kill the hardest boss in the game (Arbiter of Ash) without knowing the boss mechanics or even how to play his character. He fails 3 times and then stops the stream.
It is very hard and time consuming to reach that point in the game. People on youtube and reddit are claiming that Elon is a really good gamer, but somebody else is leveling and gearing his character for him.
From the stream, we see his character name is MonkEBizNizz. If you add the character to your friend list in game, it tells you that the account name is Random9#2886. When you search for this account name on the trade site (auction house), it show that the account language is set to Chinese. The player has even renamed stash space to Chinese. If you visit the hideout of the account in game, it shows that the realm is Hong Kong.
In the tweet below, Elon says that his character name is MonkEBizzNizz. Different spelling than the stream he made. So Elon is claiming that the character is his character, but you can see in the game that it is being played by a person who speaks Chinese and lives near Hong Kong.

That was a clickbait story. In Path of Exile 1/2, if you click like over 10 times per second, you can get disconnected for performing too many actions. It's not anything serious. I've seen people bind left click to their mouse wheel to click faster and if you scroll too quickly then you get disconnected.
Elon bragged on twitter with a screenshot of this disconnect message from button mashing. It's not a ban, it just logs you out.
