There's also Colonia Dignidad in Chile and Joao de Dios in Brazil, although he's homegrown. Then there's all the Mennonites currently setting up farming communes in the Amazon. link

Yeah, these are all South American countries which I was aware of and why I was surprised about Central America being a destination.
