Yeah this feels like talking out of both sides of their mouth. Surely the people who wanted out after the riots changed nothing would be anti-government? Is this paper super ideologically pro-rioters or did a bunch of pro-gov people leave for the UK for some reason?
This article seems to be implying that the majority of those that fled to the UK were anti-protest, an inversion of reality.
Anyway, I don’t get why the “pro-democracy” protestors are so upset over this. They yearned for the days of British subjugation and they got just that.

Welp, better realize now than when a Western government (cough America cough) puts guns in their hands and helps them destroy their own homes like in Iraq. The people who helped overthrow the Iraqi government realized leagues too late they were conned, and then there was no getting the invaders out.
