One American user on RedNote, who identified themselves as 'non-binary,' was censored after publishing a post on Tuesday asking if the platform welcomed gay people.
Meanwhile they phrased it like this:
And then posting My Hero Academia lol
Such a cherrypicked example. Meanwhile "cisgender" on Twitter:
(Wait, why is 'non-binary' in quotes?)

It's an op-ed by the bed bug himself, Bret Stephens
It gets weirder:
The Chinese name was inspired by two pivotal institutions in its co-founder Mao Wenchao's career journey that both feature red as their primary color: Bain & Company, where he worked as a consultant, and Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he earned his MBA.
The "Mao" in his name is the same character as in "Mao Zedong".

I like maps with well-done topographic relief, it makes them feel so tangible and grounded
I came across this game myself recently and a few Steam reviews mentioned that the developers are from the Hong Kong diaspora in and that the game was a metaphor for the events of 2019, which killed any interest I had in it.
Too little too late, Ukraine is exhausted now and Russia is on the winning side and will therefore be unlikely to make concessions.
Feels like an op to smear longstanding calls for negotiations as doomed to fail from the start.
Dnipropetrovsk
FT still using the old (communist) name for the city lol. Ukraine is doing great /s
(Context: it was renamed "Dnipro" in 2016. The oblast it's in however is still called Dnipropetrovsk, which FT refers to as the "Dnipro region")
People mistaking things from Star Force as being from the more popular series that preceded it happens often, which I find a shame because I do think this series is underrated. My grumbling was just nerdy pedantry, Geo Stelar alias "Star Force Mega Man" isn't a NetNavi, but I tried to say that it's not a big deal because it's so trivial.
Star Force again confused for Battle Network smh /lh
0 euro "souvenir banknotes" can be made by anyone, not just those in the Eurozone. And then Cambodia made a Marilyn Monroe one for some reason.
I sometimes think about making this type of video for the Mega Man Star Force games.
One thing I've noticed is that a noticeable chunk of the "urbanism subculture" is very hostile to anything that deviates from "traditional-style development", which gets extended to architectural styles. It's definitely a result of the space being dominated by Americans that lionise Europe and Europeans themselves.
It's like a mix of traditionalism and a "small is beautiful" mindset. Also heaps of chauvinism.
I also think OP shouldn't have drawn a comparison between Taiwan and (the rest of) China. For one, Taiwan also has high-speed rail and a good metro system in Taipei, and two the size difference is huge, Taiwan would never come close in terms of quantity lol. Plus they opened themselved up to dismissals because "muh freedoms"
Edit: apparently the original post is about cars in Taiwan with darkened windshields.

JESSE WATTERS (CO-HOST): They've contained 0% of this fire, and it didn't need to be this way. This man cannot manage water or forests. Did you know they've had record rainfall and he hasn't built a single reservoir? Hasn't broken ground on a single reservoir. It rains in California and just washes into the ocean.
He is bragging about tearing dams down. He tore more dams down -- four -- than anybody in the history of this country. Because the Native Americans told him to do it, because it would save some salmon. Now look at this.
According to Reuters the water shortage was more of a logistics problem, not really about a lack of water around.
And in one of the most mountainous, earthquake-prone regions too
Update: the tally right now is at 403,232, with seven months to go and therefore a little behind schedule by ~15,000 signatures. The minimum threshold has been reached in seven countries: Poland, Finland, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Ireland.
The thresholds weren't accurately explained in the video: to succeed it needs to get 1 million signatures union-wide AND hit the threshold in at least seven countries. That last hurdle has been cleared, so now it's just about getting to 1 million.
A country not hitting the threshold doesn't seem to invalidate its signatures, looking at past initiatives.
Geez, this place is a mess...
Yeah, that's what I tried to show in the image, which comes from the article itself. Should have made it more clear.
