    Empire regularly installs all kinds of "legitimate presidents" around the globe. Ultimately it only matters who's controlling the guns.

    I'm out of the loop. Why were their elections controversial and why does she believe she's the only legitimate president? Was it because of Russian interference?

      the party that won doesnt want georgia to (try to) join nato. that's enough to make them illegitimate nowadays.

      All the other parties boycotted the election, so this guy won by default. I don't know why they were boycotting it, but having only one person on the ballot doesn't seem like a free and fair election by any measure.
