It's pretty sad how prohibitively expensive they are to use. E-scooters (and e-bike rentals, priced similarly) can be a really useful last-mile transportation tool when not treated as a novelty and given appropriate infrastructure not to cause major issues (e.g. blocking and being used on sidewalks).
Does anyone even use these things? Not these specific ones but rental electric scooters
I see them used occasionally but not anywhere near as often as I see them sitting around. They're expensive per minute.
