It's weird to me that they didn't stage it for Trump to come in and 'broker the peace' once he's in office. The last day of Biden in office is just weird, what kind of message are they trying to send?
Trump actually asked for that specifically. He wanted the hostages returned before he entered office. I don't know why when it would look way better for him if the deal happened while he's president.
But this deal was ultimately about Trump twisting Netanyahu's arm. Biden has been peddling this deal for like 8 months and Israel kept refusing, because they knew Biden would just keep sending them weapons and not punish them in any way. Trump must have said something different for what his term will be like. Biden taking credit is so disingenuous, but so is most of the Democratic party.

Maybe he's just lazy? 🤷♀️
It allows for a constant shifting of rhetorical focus so that Trump can take credit when it suits him and blame Biden when it suits him.
Where would any blame be coming from?
Zionist didn't want to end the genocide, they wanted to complete it. Trump wants to be able to deflect them onto Biden.
Sounds like he made a pretty wise political play
